Trekking in the Lakes

Lake DistrictI recently went up to the Lake District with some friends and did a fair amount of trekking. Geez was it windy! Very pretty though, if a little overpriced.

But I guess that’s bank holiday weekend everywhere :(

Wells and Bath, Somerset

Bath Spa cathedralI went to see my mum in Wells at the weekend, picked blackberries to make a crumble, tormented the dog and generally chilled out. It’s the smallest city in England and where they filmed Hot Fuzz.

I took the train to Bath Spa, so there’s a couple of snaps from there too.

Sunny Sardinia

Prickly PearsI just got back from holiday in Sardinia and it was bloody hot! Did lots of swimming eating and taking of photos. The Prickly Pear cactus pictured right grows everywhere in Sardinia and the fruit is pretty yummy - but you have to know how to get at it without getting prickled to death :)
